Daniel was captured from Judah along with many other young men and taken to Babylon to Serve their king. Daniel and his friends made a stand against what their new rulers wanted and God granted them favor. In chapter 2 king Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and none of his wise men could interpret it for him. So they called on Daniel who then sought God to give him the interpretation and when God did this is what Daniel said
Daniel 2:20 Danil answered and said: Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are hHis.
21 And He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knwoledge to those who have understanding
What I get out of this is God is all knowing and full of wisdom, he enjoys giving wisdom to those who serve him. If we only ask and seek God like Daniel did God will grant us wisdom.
22 He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him
23 I thank you and praise you O God of my fathers; You have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of You, for You have made know to us the king's demand.
As Daniel said God reveals deep and secret things and also God has given him wisdom and might.
